{"id":121,"date":"2026-02-18T11:00:21","date_gmt":"2026-02-18T11:00:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/huguenotlodge.com\/?p=121"},"modified":"2026-02-18T11:00:22","modified_gmt":"2026-02-18T11:00:22","slug":"a-morning-of-distinction-wbro-ranvir-little-rav-takes-the-chair-at-beneficentia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/huguenotlodge.com\/?p=121","title":{"rendered":"A Morning of Distinction: WBro Ranvir (\u201cLittle Rav\u201d) Takes the Chair at Beneficentia"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Fresh from the excitement of our recent Travellers Cup adventures \u2014 and the memorable raid by <strong>St Ambrose Lodge<\/strong> \u2014 we now turn to a moment of tremendous pride for <strong>Huguenot Lodge No. 2140<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our very own Worshipful Master, Ranvir \u2014 affectionately known among us as <em>\u201cLittle Rav\u201d<\/em> \u2014 is set to conduct his <strong>first ceremony at 10am at Mark Masons\u2019 Hall<\/strong> in the Chair of <strong>Beneficentia Lodge No. 5308<\/strong>. A landmark moment, and one richly deserved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>From Near Word Perfect to the Metropolitan Stage<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>It was only at our last ceremony that WBro Ranvir delivered what many described as a near word-perfect Initiation Degree \u2014 calm, composed, and delivered with clarity and confidence. That same evening, of course, we were energetically raided by St Ambrose Lodge, making the occasion even more memorable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His ritual excellence did not go unnoticed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In recognition of his dedication and high standard of work, he has now been appointed as part of the <strong>Metropolitan Grand Lodge of London<\/strong> team \u2014 a tremendous honour and a testament to the effort he consistently invests in the Craft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A Grand Occasion at Mark Masons\u2019 Hall<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The ceremony will take place at the distinguished <strong>Mark Masons&#8217; Hall<\/strong>, a venue befitting such an occasion. Adding further distinction to the morning, the Grand Inspector will be in attendance \u2014 underscoring the significance of the event and the confidence placed in our Worshipful Master.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For Ranvir, this is not merely another meeting \u2014 it is a defining moment in his Masonic journey. To step into the Chair at Beneficentia Lodge for his first ceremony reflects both his ability and the trust placed in him by his brethren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>From \u201cLittle Rav\u201d to Leading Light<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Those of us at Huguenot know the dedication behind the nickname. \u201cLittle Rav\u201d may be the affectionate title, but his contribution to ritual, leadership, and Inspectorate engagement has been anything but small.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From delivering exemplary ritual, to strengthening ties across lodges, to now representing excellence within the Metropolitan framework \u2014 this is a proud moment not only for him, but for our entire lodge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>On behalf of everyone at Huguenot Lodge No. 2140:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A tremendous well done.<\/strong><br>We are immensely proud of you.<br>And we look forward to witnessing what promises to be an outstanding ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here\u2019s to continued light, leadership, and success in the Chair.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Fresh from the excitement of our recent Travellers Cup adventures \u2014 and the memorable raid by St Ambrose Lodge \u2014 we now turn to a moment of tremendous pride for Huguenot Lodge No. 2140.
