As Part of the Tim Spriggs Inspectorate

As part of the Tim Spriggs Inspectorate’s ongoing commitment to collaboration, shared learning, and Masonic excellence, members of Huguenots Lodge were delighted to visit St Ambrose Lodge for a memorable evening marking the official launch of the Catalyst Programme.

From the outset, the evening reflected Freemasonry at its very best — Lodges supporting one another, strengthening fraternal bonds, and working together in a spirit of unity and purpose. Catalyst is designed to encourage engagement, momentum, and practical cooperation across the Inspectorate, and this visit set an outstanding example of those principles in action.

The Brethren of St Ambrose extended a warm and generous welcome, creating an atmosphere that was both relaxed and uplifting. The ceremony itself was conducted to a very high standard, reflecting the dedication, discipline, and pride of the Lodge. The outgoing Worshipful Master presided with dignity and warmth, bringing his year in office to a fitting and impressive close.

A special mention must be made of Rav, who attended as one of the Wardens and played an active role in aiding and supporting the ceremony. His contribution helped ensure the smooth flow of proceedings and added greatly to the overall quality of what was a truly wonderful ceremony. His participation was a fine example of inter-Lodge support and demonstrated the practical spirit of Catalyst in action.

The accompanying photograph of Rav alongside the outgoing Worshipful Master of St Ambrose captures a meaningful moment of connection, symbolising cooperation, continuity, and the shared commitment to excellence that unites our Lodges within the Tim Spriggs Inspectorate.

Discussions throughout the evening focused on the aims of the Catalyst Programme — sharing experience, supporting growth, and fostering closer relationships between Lodges. There was a clear sense of enthusiasm and optimism about the positive impact Catalyst will have moving forward.

The evening concluded, as all good Masonic gatherings do, in excellent company and genuine camaraderie. Huguenots Lodge extends its sincere thanks to St Ambrose Lodge for their hospitality, friendship, and exemplary work, and we look forward to continuing this journey together as Catalyst develops across the Inspectorate.

Fraternally and faithfully.
